QUICK VT Polyester Laminate Resin Fast Drying

FEATURES:

QUICK VT is a styrene-free, amine-accelerated, fast-curing unsaturated polyester resin that is cured by adding 2-3% BPO hardener paste at room temperature. The curing process can even take place at temperatures as low as 5°C without the addition of extra accelerators. It is used for quick emergency repairs of damage and leaks in boats and swimming pools. QUICK VT, as a repair resin, exhibits good elasticity and shows good adhesion to sheet metal and polyester laminates. For metal substrates, a thin layer of polyester putty is used as an adhesion promoter. QUICK VT is temporarily resistant to diluted acids and alkalis. It is ideally suited for normal thermal and mechanical loads.

APPLICATION AREA:

• Repair of small damages using glass reinforcements on polyester molded parts and coatings as well as on sheet metal.
• As an impregnating resin for glass reinforcements on small molded parts.
• In combination with glass fiber reinforcements for quick repair of defective polyester parts.
• Attachment of fenders and built-in parts on and in boats.
